West End Rotary is excited to announce that on the second Thursday of each month we will be taking our meeting out into the community to learn more about you and share more about us. If you would like to host us at your facility, please email gruenberg.honi@gmail.com.
On June 13, we will meet at the pavilion of West End Regional Park (weather permitting) and enjoy coffee and donuts after a short walk on the trails of the park. Please contact us if you're interested in joining us. The park is located at 578 Evergreen Hollow Rd in Brodheadsville.
On May 9, we toured the facilities of Brodheadsville Chiropractic, located at 134 Pilgrim Way, right across the street from the Library. Dr. Bob Van Metter gave us the tour and enlightened our knowledge of chiropractic care.
On April 11, we met at Creature Comforts Veterinary Service in Saylorsburg, where Dr. Karin-Susan Breitlach gave us a tour of the facility that takes such good care of our pets.
Meeting time was 7:30 am. It was interesting and enjoyed by 6 club members plus a last minute visit from a visiting Rotarian from North Carolina. Great way to start the day!
On March 14, we met at Doris's Cafe (the second floor of Shoprite) and had a group lesson on how to use our website and Facebook page to better promote our programs. Please bring your laptop or mobile device. The cafe offers free WIFI so we'll be able to connect. The meeting starts at 7:30. This is a BYOB (buy your own breakfast) so please get there a little sooner if you wish to purchase breakfast.
On February 14, we toured the new facility of Pleasant Valley Ecumenical Network at 2334 rt 209 in Sciota at 7:30 am.
On January 10, we toured the offices of Dr. David Pierce, DDS.
